Certain Hope in an Uncertain World: God Does the Unexpected

Speaker: Erin Horne | Series: Certain Hope in an Uncertain World

We continue our summer of hope with the series, Certain Hope in an Uncertain World.  This week in the sermon, God Does the Unexpected we turn to the Old Testament, Ezekiel 17:22-24 and Psalm 92: 1-4; 12-15.  God gives the prophet Ezekiel a difficult mission: deliver God’s message to stubborn people who do not listen.  Though the Israelites find themselves in a difficult situation, they are not ready to listen to God’s message and obey.  We will take a look at one portion of God’s message to the Israelites, where God offers hope even for those who are stubborn.  This is the grace of God: HOPE when we are not deserving.
